Below you will find information on the ingredients used throughout the kombucha production process. Most of our ingredients are locally sourced from nearby Peruvian jungles and local markets. We are always experimenting with new ingredients and are excited to release new flavors as time goes by.

White sugar
Why white sugar and how is it used in kombucha?
-Made from Refined Sugar Cane
*Food processors juice the sugar cane, then boil the cane juice to evaporate the water. Placed in a centrifuge to remove any molasses. Then ran through a natural filtration system to remove any impurities and whiten the sugar.
-White sugar is added in the first fermentation process and is the most easily available source of sucrose for the yeast to convert to ethanol. The microbes then convert ethanol to make probiotics and naturally occurring carbonation through fermentation.
-The white sugar is to fuel the SCOBY and not for YOU. There may be low levels of sugar left over in the process.
